DREAMER X CREATOR

HILÁ ARSHADNIA

Raised in Southern California, designer, Hila Arshadnia fell in love with the art of couture as a young girl when her Iranian mother, grandmother, and their tribe of aunts would create one of a kind pieces for special occasions - often implementing real couture techniques from pleating to embroidery to draping - all self-taught.

Hila began her career in fashion as a publicist and merchandiser after graduating the University of Southern California in 2011, where she earned her Masters in Fashion Marketing & Social Media.  After a brief stint in marketing and PR, she felt an urge to go back and study her first love, design. In 2015, Hila graduated Parsons School of Design, where she mastered techniques in avant-garde and couture construction. In New York City, she worked for American luxury houses, Carolina Herrera and J. Mendel before she set out to create her own collections. After showcasing her first collection at NYFW SS19, she gained organic dressing opportunities with Serena Williams, Kylie Jenner, and most notably, Cher.

She has built her brand on the values and ideals taught to her by her late grandfather - those he practiced and instilled in her of family and community. He believed heavily in altruistic contributions and domestic manufacturing, something that is intrinsic in the culture of the brand - with the hope that every piece she makes supports and contributes to the sustainability of the American economy and empowering local female and minority-owned businesses.
